Job description:

DAT2 Algorithm Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI). Develop electrical components and systems for the Perception and Driver Assistance Technologies division, as a member of the Advanced Driving Assist team. Research, design, and developadvanced control algorithms and artificial intelligence in connection with the operation of the Petitioner's automated driver assist vehicles. Develop simulations and controlled scenarios to test the comprehensive and credible validation of the algorithms and automated driver assist vehicle systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a master's or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineeringor a related field
  • 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience using Matlab, Simulink or StateFlow and programming using C++ or Python
  • 1 year of experience developing or implementing control and estimation, signal processing, machine learning or computer vision techniques
  • 1 year of experience developing embedded control software
