Specific responsibilities include:
Ford Motor Company's Information Technology's 10-12 week summer internship opportunity is for college Juniors or Sophomores pursuing technical Bachelor or Master's Degree students in a technical field.
The software technology intern program within IT evaluates students by offering them summer employment with meaningful and challenging assignments. The program offers an excellent opportunity to experience, learn, and implement the latest software development technologies including Java, Angular, SpringBoot, Gradle, Liquibase, Hadoop, Android, Swift, Objective-C, Python, etc. in a highly collaborative and agile environment
If you have a successful internship you could receive an offer of full-time employment in our Information Technology Ford College Graduate (FCG) Program. Our FCG Program is a developmental and rotational program crafted to provide key competency development and ongoing training to prepare individuals for an Information Technology career at Ford Motor Company/Ford Motor Credit Company.
- Must have completed and passed an internship with Ford Motor Company or Ford Motor Credit Company in the previous year.
- Candidates must be Sophomore or Junior College Students pursuing a Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science; or candidates pursuing a Master's Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Computer Science)
- Candidates must graduate and be available for work prior to September 2024 (September 2025 for Sophomore level candidates)
- Pursuit of a relevant Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or PhD
- 3.0 overall GPA minimum
- 3.4 GPA or higher
- Extracurricular activities in relevant area
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work within diverse teams
