The Advance Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) program uses technology to solve the human problems of driving and make it safer, easier, and more enjoyable. Our Safety Electronics team designs and develops hardware, functional models, and software for best-in-class performance on features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Cross Traffic Alert, Active Park Assist and 360 Camera Systems. The ADAS Development Tools and Calibration team supports all software development activities by providing the necessary tools to generate, test and calibrate ADAS features. What you'll be able to do:

  • Build the core tools necessary to quantitatively assess ADAS algorithm performance.
  • Develop and maintain the core analysis framework used to run various ADAS algorithm evaluation routines.
  • Create scalable data analysis pipelines capable of iterating over massive sets of data.
  • Design and implement a performance dashboard to report the results generated by the analysis framework.
  • Write readable, maintainable, and reusable code in Python and C/C++.
  • Contribute to the codebase on a regular basis.
  • Work within an agile software development framework.
  • Participate in design and code reviews.
  • Collaborate effectively with the various teams that support ADAS algorithm development across the enterprise.
The minimum requirements we seek:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of Python programming experience (internship/coursework allowed)..
  • 1+ years of C/C++ programming experience (internship/coursework allowed).
Our Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional programming experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in the ADAS sensor fusion algorithm domain.
  • Strong mathematical background in the areas of linear algebra, statistics, probability, estimation, and Kalman filters.
