This analytics architecture position in ford credit is responsible for Data/Solution/Application architecture. Responsibility includes understanding the complex data structures in analytics space as well as interfacing application systems. Defining solutions that align to Ford Motor company's patterns and standards.
What you'll be able to do:

  • Work with application teams to define, create and modify data models
  • Design/lead Database Structure changes at the speed of product team needs
  • Team oriented with strong social skills and able to work as part of a product team
  • Guide Product teams to prepare for Subject Area Design.
  • Support Data strategy initiatives
  • Apply architecture principals and standards to design technical solutions
  • Handle enterprise architecture tools and processes (CBID, Tech 07, EAA, HIR, etc.)
  • Participate in product team ceremonies - Stand-ups, Release & Iteration Planning
The minimum requirements we seek:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer Science, Data Science or related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' experience with Python, SQL, Cloud (preferably GCP).
  • 2+ years' experience working in a multi-functional, agile product team environment/analytic delivery team.
Our preferred requirements:
  • Strong background in Data architecture and relevant application/solution architecture experience
  • Analytical experience of complex applications and data relationships
  • Knowledge of enterprise frameworks and technologies, supporting architecture and design patterns
  • 5+ Experience in Global Data Warehouse, Data lakes, Data domains, Data models
  • 5+ years with writing, analyzing & tuning SQL
  • Excellent written/oral communication and social skills.
  • Knowledge of FMCC Global Data Dictionary and enterprise data catalog
  • Expertise in ERWIN or alternate Data Modeling Tool
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work in fast paced and dynamic environment
